Some listeners wrote that they couldn’t download my podcast from China. Probably this is the result of Chinese government blocking such services as feedburner and libsyn. If this is the case for you, please try these several options.
1)First of all, please write an email and report it to me. I will also appreciate if you could help me investigate this a bit further as I’m in Canada now and everything works perfectly fine here. Please try to download from the Website, see if you can play the file etc. and let me know.
2) Since I’m still not sure where the problem is, you can try to link to the podcast feed directly via this URL http://www.melnyks.com/feed/
3) The last resort if you are tired of trying, can’t wait for me to fix the problem and want the audio lessons immediately is getting the DVD mailed to you. Please check ’shop’ on www.melnyks.com

As of July 31, 2007, we are working on a new version of a Website. Podcast and all audio lessons remain in place, the transcripts logons also work as usual. However, the look of the Website might not be perfect as we are in the process of editing it. Thanks for your understanding!
Update: The work has been completed!

The Exclusive China Tour (Oct 10-22, 2007)
I’m organizing a small group of enthusiasts (5-10 people) for a special China tour aimed at seeing real China and immersing in a real Chinese language environment.
The tour will last for 12 days, every day will be a fruitful one, full of exciting events.
You will learn a lot during this tour as it’s not just a “tour”, it’s a tour aimed at teaching you Mandarin and making it possible for you to use it in real China, with real Chinese in a variety of real-life situations, covering most of daily conversations you will ever need. You will get a great language practice while traveling and exploring the unbeaten paths of China.
You will be surprised what you can see.
We will go to the places where locals go, enjoy the food that locals do.
We will share with you our knowledge and will show you what the usual tourist will never see.
Price: $3999 per person (includes: hotel accommodation, restaurants, guide fees, tips, tolls, admission tickets, car&driver, flights Beijing-Shanghai-Beijing, etc. Extras, souvenirs and alcohol not included.)
You’ll need to purchase your roundtrip air ticket to China ( your place-Beijing-your place) separately.
You must have a passport and apply for a Chinese visa at your nearest consulate ahead of time.
You need to buy own medical insurance.
We will meet you at the airport and see you off.
